How to provide custom phpmyadmin access through cpanel?

Summary:  In this article I explain how you can provide custom phpmyadmin access through cpanel without giving the cpanel access. I have explain the steps listed below.

First of all download the phpmyadmin to your local machine from here.

Then upload the zip file to your desire directory through FTP client or by uploading the zip file through cpanel.

Desire directory is the where you want to access it. Like if you want directly access through http://www.yourdomainname.com/phpmyadmin you should place the content of the extracted directory straight under the public_html/phpmyadmin folder of your account. Remember www.yourdomainname.com is your actual domain name.

If you not unable to login to it then add the username and password of the desire database in the config file.

Now access the page by http://www.yourdomainname.com/phpmyadmin/

Now enter the username and password and click “go” button.
