Install webmin on centos simple two steps

Summary: In this post we explain how to install Webmin on centos in simple two steps procedures. webmin is used as an alternative of ISP-Config-III, cpanel, plesk and other server control panels.

Login to your server through ssh either through putty or from direct terminal if you are using ubuntu, or any linux desktop machine.

cd /usr/src/

Step-1: Download the updated rpm for webmin from link listed below through wget utility.

wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/webadmin/webmin-1.580-1.noarch.rpm

Step-2: Install the rpm when download completed.

rpm -ivh webmin-1.580-1.noarch.rpm

It will take two to three minutes and you will have the successfully installed webmin message on you server ssh screen.

When its Done!

Open your browser and type the following

https://server-ip:10000

Enter username : root
Enter Passwrod : your password
